The first SEMPL was organised in 1998 as a media planning seminar, back when new media strategy and planning knowledge could be acquired solely at various seminars, congresses and symposiums abroad, resulting in the development of a specialised educational event, called SEMPL, by Media Pool. Developing successfully, the seminar has eventually turned into the only expert event in the Adriatic Region intended for practical understanding of creative media strategy design, of innovative application of the latest communication channels and of their introduction into the traditional media mix. Following and co-creating media trends in the entire region in an expert way, it has been renamed into the Media Trends Seminar (SEMPL).
