
About Polona
Polona is a University Graduate Psychologist and Assistant Professor at the Chair of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy of the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana. She is an Equine-Assisted Therapist, a Specialty Registrar in Integrative Therapy and President of the Slovenian Society for Integrative Therapy. In the first half of her career, she worked in education, but now she has her own psychotherapeutic practice and runs the Psychological Counselling Centre at the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana. As a co-founder of the online medical hypnosis platform Ponos.si, she contributes by writing specialist articles and as a client manager. She also has extensive experience in giving talks on stress and anxiety, coping with chronic illness, communication and conflict resolution, healthy boundary setting and general well-being. She is also experienced in running experiential workshops on these topics.
