The Organizer reserves the right to change the programme and speakers, as well as cancel the event, without any prior notification. In case the event is cancelled, all those who paid the participation fee will be notified via e-mail, and their purchase fee will be reimbursed. If the event is rescheduled, the ticket retains its validity, and the participation fee will not be reimbursed.

By registering for the event, Visitors agree that the Organizer can use photographs, as well as audio and video content, that could possibly show the Visitors. The Organizer reserves the right to use these materials for promotional purposes, media and online publications, research and/or educational purposes. Visitors forgo the exercise of any kind of copyrights or other rights that pertain to their mention or image. Visitors are aware that the Organizer is not undertaking any obligations for any possible damages caused by publication of these materials where the Visitors are mentioned or shown.

Visitors agree that the Organizer can contact them to notify them about the event.

Visitors attend the event at their own responsibility. The Organizer shall not be liable for any possible lost or damage property or for possible injuries that occur at the event.

Visitors are not allowed to record the audio or video of any part of the speakers’ appearances at the event. If a Visitor wishes to acquire a special permission, they should send a written request to the Organizer.

The number of available spaces at the conference and within the programme is limited, and they are only available until all free spaces are taken.

The Organizer reserves the right to ban entrance or to administer a demand to vacate the event to a certain person on the basis of inappropriate behaviour at the discretion of the members of the organizational team or anybody who operates under the authority of the Organizer.

Registering for the conference must be made through an online system. Registration is confirmed when you receive a confirmation e-mail.

After successfully placing your order, you will receive an Order Summary with the payment deadline of eight calendar days to the e-mail provided in the application form. The invoice will be issued after the payment or after eight days from receiving the Order Summary. The invoice has to be paid by the legally determined deadline; otherwise, we will issue a reminder and charge for it in accordance with a valid price list. Upon payment by credit card, you will receive an invoice immediately, to the e-mail address you provided in the application form.

With registration, you fully accept our general terms and conditions.

Failing to pay the pro forma invoice does not automatically imply cancellation of the registration. In case you wish to cancel your registration, you must notify us pursuant to the Terms and Conditions in written form at: registration@sempl.si.

All Visitors are required to show a form of identification when registering for the event. The tickets are bound to a person and are non-transferable.

Each Visitor receives a wristband when registering, which has to be worn throughout the conference. The wristband allows access to the conference. Every misuse will lead to legal actions and to removal of the wristband. We will not replace lost or stolen wristbands.

All prices are stated in Euros (EUR). VAT is not included in the participation price. The participation price does not include accommodation costs.

Failing to pay the pro forma invoice does not automatically imply cancellation of the registration. In case you wish to cancel your registration, you must notify us pursuant to the Terms and Conditions in written form at: registration@sempl.si.

There is no cancellation fee for cancellations up to 30 September 2023; for cancellations between 1 and 10 October 2023, a cancellation fee of 50% of the registration fee applies; and from 11 October 2023, cancellation with a refund of the registration fee is possible only in case of force majeure, with appropriate proof. In case of cancellation after the specified deadline or non-participation in the event for any reason, the participant is obliged to pay the registration fee in full, or the already paid registration fee is withheld in full. In case of cancellation of the registration fee, the participant is not entitled to credit for 2024.

In the event that the registered person cannot attend the event due to force majeure (natural disasters, illness or death of close family members), it is possible to register a substitute participant. A request to change participant must be sent in writing to the e-mail address registration@sempl.si. Changing the participant is free of charge for changes made by 11 October 2023. After the specified deadline, an administrative fee of EUR 90 + VAT will be charged for the change. There will be no possibility of changes at the conference reception.

All prices are stated in Euros (EUR). VAT is not included in the participation price. The participation price does not include accommodation costs.

By applying to the Sempl Conference or Sempler Media Strategy Competition, organised by Media Pool d.o.o., Dunajska cesta 159, 1000 Ljubljana, Phone +386 (0) 1 563-66-00 for the purpose of implementing the Sempl Conference and the Sempler Media Strategy Competition, to discuss questions about your participation in the Conference or the Competition and for issuing of an invoice, on the basis of consent and legitimate interest, we collect some of your personal information, which is necessary strictly for the implementation of the application for the Conference or the Competition, which is why we are asking you to carefully read this notice.
Your right is our top priority and we commit ourselves to take care of the security and privacy of your data in all situations. Website is data protected with SSL (256-bit SHA-256) certificate and stores all sensitive information in an encrypted format.

What data do we store:
First and last name, e-mail address, phone number, company name, tax number, function of the individual, permanent / temporary residence or business address, Twitter ID, IP address.

Why:
The data will be used for the purpose of informing about the activities related to the Sempl conference and the Sempler Media Strategy Competition, for promptly informing about possible changes, for keeping records of people registered for the Conference, Competition, for billing, until cancellation.
The data collected will be mainly used by our company, but it can happen that the data on your application will be submitted to the contracting partner of the Conference, with the sole purpose of ensuring your smooth participation in the Conference and to the web hosting provider.
In the case of a request for oblivion, we will respond to the request and completely remove your data within 1 month. In order to ensure compliance of the application process and a smooth process of organization of the Conference, we will retain all the information provided until cancellation.

Protecting your rights:
With regard to the collected data, you have, in accordance with the provisions of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), the right to:
– information – you have the right to oblivion, which is accepted in our company. You can check your information at Media Pool d.o.o. or by sending an email to info@sempl.si. In order to ensure safety, internal rules for determining the identity before disclosure apply.
– access – you always have the right to access all of your data via info@sempl.si. We will provide you with all the information we keep in simple and transparent form and according to EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR). Deadline for reply is 1 month after the received and approved request, but it is usually completed within 24 hours.
– changes – you have the right to change your personal information insofar as they are inconsistent or incorrect.
– deletion – the right to delete is not a right to entirely delete data, since we are required to provide certain information for other cases.
– data transfer – you have the right to transfer data from one IT environment to another. In this case, we will provide you with data in CSV file.
– processing block – you have the right to processing block that you submit to info@sempl.si. In this case we have the right to store data, but it cannot be processed automatically.
